Whistleblower Protection

"Truth is the ultimate protection. Anonymity is the tool we use to deliver it."

Our Commitment

At ScamExpose.in, we recognize that individuals who expose corruption, financial fraud, and systemic malpractice often do so at great personal and professional risk. Our primary objective is to provide a secure, non-traceable conduit for high-impact intelligence while maintaining the highest standards of journalistic source protection.

The Three-Layer Protocol

01.

Digital Sanitization

We do not log IP addresses or use tracking cookies for our tip-submission portals. Our internal systems are designed to strip metadata from uploaded documents to prevent tracing the source's hardware or location.

02.

Encrypted Custody

Once received, your data is moved to offline, encrypted storage (At-Rest Encryption). Only senior investigative leads have access to the raw files, ensuring zero internal leaks.

03.

Verified Anonymity

If we publish your findings, we refer to you only by a mutually agreed-upon pseudonym. We will never disclose your real identity unless explicitly authorized by you in writing.

Secure Submission Channels

To ensure your safety, we recommend using these third-party platforms for the first point of contact. Avoid using work computers or office Wi-Fi networks.

Signal / Telegram (Secret Chat)

End-to-end encrypted messaging. Auto-delete timers should be set to 24 hours.

Tor Browser Access

We recommend using the Tor Browser to access our site for maximum IP obfuscation.

Legal Boundaries

While we go to extreme lengths to protect our sources, whistleblowers must understand the following legal realities in the Indian context:

  • Judicial Privilege: Unlike some Western jurisdictions, Indian law does not offer absolute "shield laws" for journalists. While we will fight to keep sources secret, a High Court or Supreme Court order may theoretically compel disclosure in cases involving national security.
  • Public Servant Disclosures: Whistleblowers reporting on public servants may be eligible for statutory protection under the Whistle Blowers Protection Act, 2014. We can guide you on how to approach a 'Competent Authority' for such legal immunity.
  • Good Faith: Protection is only extended to those acting in Good Faith. We do not protect individuals who knowingly provide false information for malicious intent or personal vendetta.
